For our Furbabies

Oh those balls of fur that like to lick, play, poop, eat and love their lives away.
How sweet those eyes that look at  you when you come home or aren't feeling so well.


My husband and I just got our new little bundle of loving about a week ago. His name is Kingsley (a West Highland Terrier AKA Westie).


His favorite past times are:

• sleeping
• eating
• playing tug of war
• peeing on the rugs in the house
• hiding under the bed in the spare room
• sniffing flowers
• running after 'ducky'
• waking up mommy and daddy by licking their faces at 7 AM 
• eating mommy's favorite shoes

Things he dislikes:

• baths
• pooping/peeing where he is supposed to
• random noises in the apartment that he can't find
• not being allowed on the bed with mommy & daddy
• that strange other dog he sees whenever he looks in the mirror

Oh, how we love our doggies and kitties and how they love us. Like any other animal lover, you know we like to spoil them as much as our wallets will let us (and then some sometimes). Well, today Kingsley and I made a list of things that he and his friends would like to purchase.  Spoiled furbabies have excellent computer shopping skills.

 Even though Kingsley enjoys taking his food out of the bowl, dragging it halfway around the house to then end under the dinner room table and finishing there, he thinks there is no reason not to 'present' his food to him in  a really cool and unique looking bowl. I do have to say, this is a really awesome looking dish holder. A combination of glass gems, ceramic and glass tile makes this a happy-good looking bowl  for a happy-good looking pet. My Heart Beats for You by thehappychihuahua 

If my husband saw me shopping for this particular tag for our doggy, well, he is likely to hide all the computers in the house so I wouldn't do any unsupervised on-line shopping. Lucky for him, this is not for Kingsley. Nope, Kingsley is picking this one out for his future girlfriend. I know, I know...he's too young to be thinking about relationships, but Kingsley is a hopeless romantic you see. He loves the ladies and the ladies love him. They eye him when we go for walks and at the park. He's a stud you know (with great taste). 

Reading the description of the item and shop, you can tell that the artist is a true animal lover. They spend time on each individual piece knowing that someone is buying it for their pet with love. 

I'm going to buy a piece from them (don't worry hun, I won't buy a piece that has pink, a heart or anything else you might deem "girly").

For the 'extra' pampered furbaby, I think this is a great addition to their collection. The shop has TONS of amazing items. **NO KINGSLEY, put daddy's credit card down...NO!...You ate mommy's shoes, so unless you are buying me a new pair of flats you don't get the Swarovski collar. This is only for good doggies**

Safari Chaise Lounge - Dog Bed by luckypuppy

So Kingsley plans to wine and dine his future girlfriends and seduce them (he's sneaky like that). He likes this chair for that purpose. You can't find more of a perfect lounge chair than this one. I can already imagine our pup lounging there with a bone on one side and a tall glass of water on the other (with a bendy straw of course). I REALLY like this item, like A LOT! From the print of the cushion to the umbrella with the hanging crystals to the perfect pillow. I actually want this for me. I wonder if I can get it in my size...hmmm? But then I will have to figure out how to get it to Prague, find a pool and lay next to it. Maybe I'll wait until I'm back home in Florida for a bit.

You gotta love that the artist works his hardest to stay green and recycles as much of his material as he can. I also love the fact that he's from Ft. Lauderdale (as stone throw away from my casita, Miami).

The Blue Danube Petbed by yourhighnesspetbedsKingsley wants you to know that he also has his classy side. He wants to show you by showing you his favorite bed that he found on etsy. The artist received her inspiration form the Second Empire period (Kingsley's favorite period). He wants some spoiling done ASAP. He says he needs a nice classy bed for when he has girls over (NOT on MY WATCH BUDDY!). 

This bed is actually kinda cool looking. For cats or dogs this is perfect for the high-end pet. Check out the shop. You can see the amount of detail that goes into each piece. This is nothing short of perfection and totally worth every penny.
